  • First of all, just want to say that this class is really great! I really enjoy it & it’s such a great workout! It makes it worthwhile to get up so early. Thank you for getting up so early to teach this class and organize it! I’m finally noticing a change in my midsection….waistband of pants fits a bit nicer. Yay! And actually this body revelation makes it a little easier to roll out of bed at 5am.

  • Thank you so much for offering this, doing this is going above the call of duty in my opinion. You set up a class with the date range and time and if folks sign up and have to miss classes due to other stuff going on, this is their choice. This is really special of you and Supreme to do this. I commend you for doing this. I was a member of the west, East YMCA and The Pinnacle for years and no way in heck would they do this. By being a member of Supreme and having a flexible membership and how friendly the club was what drew me to the club and I love it. Supreme has by far the best instructors of any club in the Madison area that I am aware of. The employees of Supreme actually care about their members. I really love the Kettle bell class, it is the best. I am re-evaluation about your new upcoming class. I don’t usually like to pay for classes, but this is a very unique class, you are one of the best instructors I have ever had. My body parts are liking it and they are responding very well to the class. The class is a good change of pace for me.


  • My name is Dennis Lynn and I am a 26 year old average married guy. When my wife and I started to work with Shannon, I weighed about 225(I won’t speak for my wife). At one point, I was fairly athletic and enjoyed running yet in the beginning running 15 minutes was a strain. We have tried several diet programs in the past with minimal results that we immediately lost once we stopped. We know that it was time to do something that we could maintain. There are plenty of programs that will get you ripped fast or lose weight fast but what we have discovered since working with Shannon is that losing weight is a lifetime goal, not a goal of the week. Shannon pushes us hard but does her best to instill a program that we can maintain even after we are done working with her.

    In January, at the end of my first term with Shannon, my weight dripped below 220. Today, after the first few weeks of my second term, I dripped down below 210 and more importantly I feel stronger than I ever have. Not only has Shannon done a superb job of helping my wife and I look great and feel great she takes special care to tailor a workout to our specific needs. In my case I am very tall and as a result have incredible back pain. Shannon Has worked on my back specifically and I can already tell the difference. My posture is improving and my back pain in improving (slowly but surely).

    With the program that I am on with Shannon I will be able to run a half marathon this summer (probably even more if I wanted to) and I have not done that since I was 18. She cares about her clients and works around our crazy schedule which has us unfortunately waking her up at about 5:30am three days a week to workout. She comes in every morning in a great mood that is contagious which makes workouts fun. My wife loves the way I look and so do I. It is quite a feeling getting compliments about how much weight I have lost and I can really tell when I look at old pictures. If you listen to Shannon and do what she tells you, you will see the results you want. Every week is challenging but when working with Shannon, it is hard not to get excited about being healthy and for that I could never thank her enough.

  • "I am a 74 year old woman and have been a client of Shannon's for three or four years. I started working with her in a group TRX class she taught. I benefited from it so much that I started working with her as my personal trainer working out twice a week. I have become so much stronger with better balance, aerobic fitness,and increased flexibility. Her workouts are challenging but also a lot of fun. She incorporates a lot of different apparatus i.e.TRX, ship rope, rip trainer, dumbbells, machines, bands, and exercise balls. And she varies routines using such things as barre and yoga. A friend and I work out together with Shannon and have many laughs along with very challenging sessions. I hope to be able to continue with her for years to come. She keeps me young!"


  • Since Shannon began the fitness programs at Verona Senior Center, I have been a regular attendee, working out on Mondays and Thursdays in the "Keeping Fit" sessions. For at least 10 years, I have had to have regular chiropractic sessions for a scoliosis condition that periodically causes me a lot of back pain and a rib that periodically "pops out". Since attending Shannon's classes, I have had almost no need for chiropractic adjustments!! This workout program has obviously resulted in much stronger back muscles that support my spine far better. The classes are fun as well as a great workout; many friendships have been formed and will continue to thrive!
